Description of 1972 Chevrolet Blazer K5 4x4 |
This is my father-in-law's '72 Blazer 4x4 CST. He bought it brand new in Colfax, CA in '72, owner manual and purchase order as well. He drove it to Tahoe and it's never left. We don't drive it anymore, and impending move, it's time for us to part with this piece of family history. It's a 350 with an automatic and a 2WD/4WD/4-LOW transfer case. It starts and runs. Won’t have a problem getting on a trailer. With a little TLC tune up, this could easily be a daily driver. It currently reads 93,792 on the odometer, and yes, that IS the actual mileage - it hasn't turned over. This truck is completely original. Studded snow tires on it with a really clean set of 4x4 chevy hubcaps, new Interstate battery and new points/condenser. The fiberglass top has NEVER been taken off, but it does have a few cracks in it and the middle is kind of depressed from heavy snow. All the glass is good. It's rusted where all Blazers rust, the rocker panels, and the floor needs some work as well. It’s rusted around the wheel wells, too. It has a dent in the left rear panel next to the fuel cap. The front clip is good and the firewall is perfect. Interior is very clean all it needs is a new carpet and bucket seat covers will be a 10. Rear bench seat is in good shape. Trim is complete, however two are not bolted on, so I put them on with tape for the pictures. I reserve the right to remove this listing due to selling locally.
