The year was 1988. Bands like Guns N Roses and Def Leppard were at the top of the charts.Ronald Regan was the president and nobody had ever heard of the internet. The Chevy Camaro IROC-Z was at the zenith of it's popularity. Everyone wanted one. This particular car was purchased in August of 1988 by an adult,married couple as a gift to the wife. This car has remained in her possession until just a couple of weeks ago. It has been carefully driven as a weekend cruiser for only 57000 miles in the last 31 years. It has been meticulously maintained andis of an elite, investment-grade quality, and as a collector car it will continue to rise in value every day. You can buy this car, drive it and enjoy it, and if maintained, you will watch your money grow!

This Iroc-Z is completely original. I have every document from Day One, including all the owner's manuals, inserts, dealer paint and interiorprotection pamphlets, maintenance records, andI even have the dealer invoice and bill of sale.It has a clean Carfax report that comes with it, authenticating both the mileage and the fact that the car has been owned by onewoman since 1988 (not including myself). Finding a convertible Iroc-Z in this color combination is very difficult, and finding one with this kind of provenance and history is extremely difficult.......so don't miss your chance to own this piece of history.

This one features the 5.0 liter (305) Tuned Port Injection engine, and is mated to a 700-R4 automatic transmission with overdrive.Everything is totally original, untouched, and unmodified.The drivetrain performs flawlessly and has a great sound.The suspension and steering are both wonderfully firm and tight, due to the low mileage. These cars handle like they are on rails and they provide great power and can cruise at high speeds very easily. Everything works on the car, including the air conditioning and cruise control.The tires and brakes areall in great condition. It has zero mechanical issues. I would feel confident to hop in it and drive anywhere in the country without a worry in the world.

The interior in this car i, once again, all original and absolutely gorgeous. The tan interiors in these Irocs are rare to see, and are very difficult to keep clean, especially for 31 years.The fact that this interior isbasically perfectis a testament to the meticulous care that this car received. Everything works on the interior. It has it's original "ERS" stereo system with cassette deck, and also features a power antenna that still works perfectly. Theblack cloth convertible top is in immaculate condition and the rear window is crystal clear. It goes up and down manually with ease and it does not leak.

The exterior of this Iroc is what really shines......both literally and figuratively!As with the rest of the car, it has been meticulously maintained and is absolutely beautiful. There is zero rust anywhere, of course. It has never been wrecked or modified in any way. It still sports all of it's original VIN stickers on the major body panels and I cannot find any trace of paint work done on it. There are a few tiny stone chips here and there that have been touchedin over the years, which is to be expected.All the paint, emblems,and the decalson the carare amazing. The wheels are the original Iroc 16 inch ones, in matching gold, and are in beautiful condition with zero curb rash. All the lights are shiny with no oxidation, and all lights work as they should.

All in all, this is the nicest Iroc-Z that I have ever found in all my years of enthusiasm for automobiles. This is one of those cars that can take you back to your youth. It is iconic, instantly recognizedand loved by most everyone, and especially those of us that lived in that era. Imagine taking this car to your next high school reunion! 80's and 90'smusclecars are the new classics, and they will continue to go up in value every single day. In a few years, this car will be worth double what it is worth right now......so if you are thinking about having some fun, why not have fun and make money at the same time?
