1990 Chevrolet Beretta Indy Pace Car

To Commemorate the 1990 Indy 500, the Beretta Indy Coupe was produced in limited quantity in only 2 colors, Turquoise and Yellow. The 500 has been used throughout recent history for manufacturers to showcase a special model or new introduction car as there are many eyes on this annual event, which translates to many customers.

For consignment one of 1,500 yellow commemorative Pace Car Berettas produced with only 22 original miles. The consigner states that the mileage is correct, however when the car came to us, the speedometer, trip odometer and odometer were not functioning. We had it inspected and the garage did get the aforementioned functions working, so in the interest of full disclosure, this is the story. We truly believe the 22 miles are original to the car, however the title is marked exempt due to age.

Exterior
A body color grille with red badge, front lower and rear deckled spoilers, body colored side moldings with charcoal accent stripe, body color front and rear fascia with charcoal rub insert strip, and body color lower body ground effects panels, separate this car from the standard Beretta offering. 16-inch aluminum wheels with body color accents and special Indy graphics in hot pink and black as well as a sunroof and original dealer sticker are on this car too. All in very good condition.

Interior
Unique Indy styled cloth bucket seats which are wrapped in gray tweed on the inserts, smooth suede bolsters and yellow accents in the form of a stripe wrapping the back mid-section and the seat insert. A stylized script INDY embroidery is on each headrest. The back bench maintains this motif and all seats are in excellent condition. A simple 90's squares and rectangles make use of gray and black top form the simplistic dash. All digital readouts are present, including an added tachometer, and is all working. Gray carpet on the floors with no marks on it, and a tight headliner skirts a tinted sunroof. Overall very clean and dust free.

Drivetrain
A 3.1 Liter V6 with EFI is shoehorned into the showroom engine bay. This is backed up by a 4-speed automatic 4T60E transmission.

Undercarriage
Completely clean and absolutely un-marred, we see strong steel framing and rust-free body hangers, rockers, ground effect floorpans, and an original exhaust system. These cars were equipped with special handling package labeled Level 4. Power front disc brakes and rear drum brakes have wear sensors on them.

Drive-Ability
Starts like a new car, runs like a new car, and handles well with the Level 4 package. Seats grab you and the dash is visually enticing, however keep your eyes on the road!

A time capsule preserved Special Indy Edition Pace Car Beretta, one of only 1500 made available in yellow, and certainly must be one of the lowest mileage examples of said model, color and edition.
