Description of 1972 Chevrolet C-10 Restomod |
If all you did was look at the two-tone paint on this 1972 Chevrolet C10, then you would just think this is a cool classic. But the low stance instantly tells you that this one has also been upgraded substantially. So look over this full fresh restomod build that includes a custom A/C interior, upgraded suspension, overdrive transmission, and modern fuel-injected V8 heart. The classic two-tone looks particularly nice with this 1970s-style butterscotch tan and white. With only about 600 miles on this build, there is a nice gloss to the paint that radiates like a good investment should. There are also nice details, like the bright chrome bumpers and the classic wood-like inserts on the trim and tailgate. Plus, the black grille and black steelie wheels are a cool coordinating combo. But what really draws people's attention is the ultra-low stance. You can see this was done professionally, including the customized bed to accommodate the suspension. And it all hints at some great upgrades beneath the skin. Inside this continues the theme of a classic look with some cool upgrades. The tan has a classic '70s look, especially with the wood-like trim accenting. But then you notice the seat. It's the classic bench style, but it has been contoured for comfort and finished in a supple Ultraleather. The dash pad, sun visors, and headliner have been covered to match. You get a wood-rimmed sports steering wheel on a tilt column, and beyond that is a full Classic Instruments gauge package, including tach. Plus, there are great comfort upgrades like a Retrosound AM/FM digital tuner w/iPod input, cruise control, and cold-blowing R134a air conditioning. Under the hood this one loves to show off the best upgraded of the all. The smooth tan inner fenders and firewall funnel all your attention to the dark heart in the middle. This is a fuel-injected LT1 V8. It's the kind of motor that powered some great Corvettes and Camaros. This one is out of a Caprice, which is quite important to know when you look at the undercharge photos. That smooth-riding sedan also gave its suspension to this custom build. So you have a powerful modern V8 under the hood, and a suspension that makes this more comfortable than probably any other classic truck you've ever known. Plus, this has all the best driving features, like a four-speed automatic transmission w/highway-friendly overdrive, power steering, power brakes w/discs up front, and an anti-lock brake system. This is the fresh build that delivers an awesome look and an awesome ride. So if you love cool customs that were made to be driven, call today!!! |
