Description of 1976 Chevrolet C-10

1976 Chevy C-10 Short bed Step side that competed in the ISCA "International Show Car Association" circuit on the West coast in the 90's. Competed under the name "Low Commotion". Paint job is a work of art. Paint by "True Colors" in Las Vegas. 9 colors with many designs, fades, pin stripes that have been clear coated over. No paint edges from color changes. Has held up very well with some minor imperfections from age and stone chips that have been touched up. It just received a top 25 award at a local car show with 120 vehicles. Top has been chopped 3", door handles, locks, mirror, side marker lamps, drip rails and nameplates removed. Has electric door popper. Tailgate and lower rolled body panel louvered, Frenched tail lights, and front bumper bolt holes filled. Nice wood floor in bed. Rectangular headlamps replace original round. Custom made dash covering, door panels and headliner. Billet shifter, turn signal, tilt wheel levers, and window cranks, pedals, step plates, gauge cluster. Grant steering wheel. Kenwood DPX-410 AM/FM Stereo Cassette/CD with good sounding speakers.Drivetrain features:454 built to 468 CI, 8 qt. oil pan, gear drive timing, lots of cam, Edelbrock Torker TM2R sideways intake with Holley dual feed carb. Hooker Super Competition headers with exhaust flowing thru 3" pipes with H pipe Flowmaster mufflers and Super Trapp tips. Sounds mean! MSD ignition, Accel HEI Super Coil, electric fuel pump, new 2 1/4' radiator, auxiliary electric fan, vacuum reserve tank for brake booster. 400 Transmission built by B&M Chatsworth, Ca. Narrowed 9" Ford positraction rear end with new 4:10 gears and wheel seals. Recent new front disc brakes, good rear linings. Brand new rear Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R radials mounted on Weld Racing wheels that are in nice condition. Size 31X18.00R15LT. Date code 2619. 16" tread width. "Expensive". Good P205/75R15 Uniroyal Tiger Paw front tires with 8/32" tread depth.Truck has power steering, brakes, and working air conditioning. Just serviced. Needs nothing other than lower cab corners starting blister. Does not have parking brake. Solid no hit body that has spent its life out West and in Tennessee. Driven 21K miles since build.
