Description of 1969 Chevrolet Camaro STYLE TRIM |
1969 CHEVROLET CAMARO Z28,1 owner car, with original purchase agreement Up for grabs here is a 1969 camaro Z2, this Z28 is a really early build which was before the trim tag designation was not yet implemented. Although this camaro has been authenticated as one of the few real deal z28's. Additionaly this camaro has original factory drivetrain that is in survivor condition minus a few details from service. such as the smog pump and tubes being removed as well as the voltage regulator not original. *Starting with the engin, it is the original born with numbers matching DZ engine with perfectly legible engine code and vin code stampings. Engine starts right up runs and idles as it should with the original carburetor, intake manifol, exhaust manifolds, heads pulleys and more. The transmissions in all 69 Z28's are muncie 4 speeds. But the rarest of all are the Famed M22 Rock Crusher transmissions. this camaro not only has the M22 option but it is the original to the car transmission. this is how rare this option is: 243,085 camaros were made in 1969. only 2,117 came with the M22 option! VE3 endura front bumper with 12,650 cars equiped. Factory power disc brakes *Interior is 90% original as the carpet has been recently replaced, drivers seat has a hole that could be repaired or seat cover replaced. Also headliner unstitching in spots as well as a quarter size hole. *Body : body is is fair to good condition as the car was hit by a school bus in the 1980's and repaired with new quarter panels. the new panels appear to be layed over the original and welded in. so with the old repair you can see bubbles starting to form where the body work was performed on the top sides of the quarter panels. this is the least desireable part of the car as nothing else looks to have been modified. The floorboards as well as trunk look nice and solid. this was kept in a storage shed its whole life. Feel free to reach out with any question, Car is available to view, have inspecte, have something we may be interested in as a partial, etc. |
