Up for auction a starting at a $1 with NO RESERVE is a very rare 1979 Chevy Impala Landau Coupe with only 53,000 original documented miles. Keep in mind, this is one of only 3,247 Landau Coupes made in 1979. I hate to sell this gorgeous car, unfortunatelyI don't have enough space to store it this year. This is a sharp head turner, no one will have one of these at the car shows! This Impala has been owned by one family since new. It has always been garaged, maintained, and babied. This car looks like its been sitting in a time capsule. It was driven by an older women who took it in for service more than required. If anything, the car was over maintained. It was brought into the garage regularlyto ensure it was always in optimal shape. I have hundreds and hundreds of receipts for ANY and ALLmaintenance or purchases. She kept EVERY single piece of documentation for this car. I even have the original sales receipt in which it shows she paid for the dealership rust proofing! It would take a day or more to go through all the paperwork. It runs and drives as perfect, as the day it was driven off the showroom floor. When I say this car would make it across the Country without issue, I mean it. There are zero issues with this vehicle and it passed inspection with flying colors through July 2020. EVERYTHING in this beauty works as it should, its a true turn key and cruise!
There are very few of these two door 1979 Impalas left, and none in this condition. This is as close to perfect as you can get for a 40 year old car. This is one of only 3 years, in which they made a double bent tempered three sided rear window. The V-8 engine is very strong and pushes the car down the road smoothly. The transmission shifts tight as if it was new. This car doesn'tleak a drop of anything, nor does it burn any oil. The paint which is all original, as well as the body are in phenomenalshape. There is no rot or rust anywhere on this car. The paint shinesbeautifully and has a unique sparkle to it. All the door skins and jams are super clean. The chrome looks great with no dull spots. The car has all the original emblems, stickers and decals. She had rust proofing oil sprayed every year, even though it was never driven in the snow. Thevinyl top is perfect without issue. The interior of this Impala is beyond remarkable. The seats show ZERO wear and look like they did back in 1979. The seats are cloth with the headrests being vinyl. She did put blankets over the seats to preserve them. The dash is in great shape with no cracks or issues. It has a nice wood trim to all accent pieces which adds a touch of class. The headliner is tight and unblemished. Tires have 80% life left. All the interior and exterior lights work. The car comes with all the original documents as well as the hundreds of receipts showing you everything done in the last forty years. Also included is a tote with extra new parts and keepsakes that came with the car. Please keep in mind that this car is 40 years old. While its an beautiful shape, its still an all original 1979. There are small imperfections here and there, however, there are NO big dings, dents, scrapes, scratches or issues.
