Selling my recently restored (about 99%), 1969 Camaro Convertible with a long list of new components, parts and added RS package. Lots of labor and money went into making this car beautiful, and fun to drive- it gets a ton of attention. The colors are Cortez Silver with black stripes, painted (not decals). Has a brand new GM crate 350 V8, and a rebuilt Muncie 4 speed (manual) transmission. So many NEW items to list on this car:- exhaust system complete with manifolds
- power convertible top (with front header)
- wheels and tires (18"rear, 17"front)
- 4 wheel disc brakes, calipers & rotors, Ebrake
- radiator
- front & rear air shocks
- gas tank & sending unit
- carburetor
- steering wheel
- grill, with detroit speedway hidden headlights system
- clutch & pressure plate
- flywheel
- all body panels- quarter panels, inner rear wheel wells, doors, front fenders, hood, trunk lid, taillightpanel, floor and lower valence panel
- carpet & door panels
- bumpers andtaillights
- emblems
- battery
The reason the body panels were replaced wasn't so much as rust as it was for dents & poor previous panel repairs. The original seats were in good shape, so those are still in there, and it still has all 4 factory cocktail shakers (counterweights). There are a couple things that will need to be finished (see pictures):- Convertible weather stripping kit needs to be installed (kit included with car)
- Windows will need to be adjusted to the new seals
- One spot on the trunk; only flaw I could find in the paint
- One strip of the dash panel under the windshield has some corrosion, but that panel is readily available on ebay; not sure how that got missed when being restored
- Radio is just for looks
Hate to sell this car, but enjoyed having it for 4 years, and it really has a great sound and look. Selling it to purchase some property. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.$500.00 deposit (non-refundable) required immediately upon winning the auction through PayPal. The remainder due within 5 days, wire transfer preferred.
