Description of 1977 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 2500

Chevrolet C/K Pickup. Custom built Short bed Crewcab. Changed to 1/2 ton 5 lug suspension. Built from a zero rust Arizona truck. Excellent craftsmanship. This is not just globbed together. All seams are aligned perfectly. Bed fits correctly. I showed some side shots to let you see how well everything fits. The bed interior is very good and not all hammered up. There has been a later year front end put on the truck that is in good shape, but I think the earlier "wide nose" front ends look better. There are both cowl fillers included if you want to switch back. It has a aftermarket roll pan under the tailgate with a flip down license plate holder to install a hidden trailer hitch. All doors open and shut as they should and all glass is good. The interior is in very good condition and it even has the original GM mats protecting the carpet. The dash is cracked but not miss-shapen. It will be easy to recover. All of the gauges are there and none of the dash trim is broken up. This truck has factory A/c and tilt wheel along with the optional wood-grain and embossed trim on the door panels. The headliner was falling down and I pulled out the factory vinyl. The Fiberglass shell is in great shape and can be redone. The body is extremely straight with no dents or dings. There will be minimal amount of finishing required. The front doors do have some blind rivet nuts on them from a few rear view mirrors over the years. The roof is perfect with no clearance lights. It will be just a sand and spray job up there. I have a GMC grill and all of the headlights to go with it for the front end. The chrome bumper is also there and in great shape. The bed still has a bunch of nuts and bolts and brackets from both trucks to finish this one up. I also have the two piece driveshaft that has not been cut down. There also is another fuel tank. There is no engine or trans in this truck now, but I am including a complete 1988 GMC Suburban for parts. It has the 350 with the 700R4 and I believe every option you could get back then. Bucket seats, console, dual A/C, power windows, door locks, tilt wheel, power tailgate, a full set of factory sport wheels, and more that I can't think of right now. It is running and driving but it is rusty as Hell. It is from Illinois and there is actual salt blocks caked up in what is left of the quarter panels. The good part is because it is from the rust belt all of the interior trim is like new. I started taking off the door panels and windshield interior trim and it is excellent. Plus you can add all of the options at the same time. There should be enough left of the Suburban parts to recoup quite a bit of money when you are done. This will make a cool Phantom pickup. It will have people scratching there heads thinking they are sure they've seen one of these before. With the 5 lug axles, your choice of wheels are endless. The only real problem is whether to build it as a "factory" custom or bag it, slam it, and shave it. Which ever you do, you won't find another one coming around the corner at you. I have clear titles on both trucks. They both roll steer and stop. The Suburban is really rusty. If you are brave you might drive it, but I wouldn't. I need to have half of the final bid in 5 days and the balance in ten. All funds must clear my bank before trucks leave my possession. No Nigerian Princes, no third party Lithuanian checks. No Pay Pal. I can store this for a couple of weeks until they are picked up. I can have them delivered to a trucking company at your expense. This is about as easy a build as anyone could ask for. When finished this will be a striking truck. I have more pictures if you need them. Bob 48O 488 36O7
