1963 Chevrolet Impala Sport CoupeLocation: Elk River. MNThis is a great driving project car. It's ready to be finished as a rat rod or take it all the way to that restored show queen. I am advertising this car for a friend. The description is based on his knowledge and my observations. I encourage you to watch the video attached to this ad. Look under "Link". I take you on a complete walk around and try to point out whatever flaws or positives I find. The seller was in the process of making this a rat rod driver but found another project he would rather do so he decided to sell it at this point. I would like to point out that a car like this has been in process for the last several years so whoever buys it should plan to spend some time and shakedown miles to work out the little details to make it a truly turn key driver. According to the VIN this is a Impala Sport Coupe Two Door Hardtop. It left the factory with a V8. Automatic Transmission and Factory Power Steering. The car is equipped with a Non matching numbers nice running 283 and powerglide. I will make a quick list of the work that's been done recently. 1. Body shell was media blasted to bare metal and painted flat black with no body filler. What you see is what you get. Nothing hidden beneath bondo. (the remaining body panels were sanded and painted over the existing paint) 2. All brakes were rebuilt and new master cylinder was installed 3. Original power steering connected and working 4. Edelbrock aluminum intake and 4bbl. carb 5. Battery and electric fuel pump re-located to the trunk 6. New Heater Core 7. New belts and hoses and thermostat 8. New dual exhaust from manifolds back 9. New windshield and back glass weatherstrips 10. Sand blasted and painted frame 11. Pressure tested and cooked radiator 12. New cap. rotor. spark plugs. plug wires and coil 13. Newer tires and steel rally wheels 14. New carpeting in a box If you notice in the pictures the majority of the trim is in the trunk. There may be some pieces missing. Whatever came with the car is there so that is something that may need to be sourced if the buyer wants to re install all the side trim etc. As you can imagine it's easy to leave things out inadvertently.
