I have owned this 1972 K10 chevy 4x4 short wide bed truck for 25 years i bought this truck in the midwest completely orignial and drove it home to oregon with no problems. As a professional mechanic I have replaced just about every body and mechanical part on the truck. Most all parts came from LMC TRUCK. Many aftermarket and high performance parts such as aluminum radiator and dual electric fan assy, demon carburator, performer air gap intake manifold, MSD ignition box with variable timing control. Pro comp ceramic coated headers with custom exhaust. Engine was professionally rebuilt with about 10,000 miles on it. 400HP Engine has a long list of performance internal upgrades. 9.75/1 compression with full balancing. pro comp 4x4 camshaft with roller valve train. 8 qt oiling system dual rolller timing chain and race hamronic balancer. runs a holley electric fuel pump and a electric water pump. 120 amp 1 wire alternator. the transmission was also built with same amount of miles built to eliminate all the weak flaws the normall turbo 350 has. I run royal purple trans fluid with a larger trans pan and cooler also has a 2500 stall converter in it. transfer case is the full gear driven 205 model. Ive installed 3/4 ton differentials in it. Rear differential is a eaton 1 ton with round diff cover and 4.11 gears with a detroit locker assy. Front differential is a dana 44 with big hub locks and disc brakes. Truck is lifted 4 inches with full spring kit front and rear. The wheels and tires are new 35 inch. Power steering and power brakes. All new body panels have been replaced including the short bed.
