-PLEASE SCROLL ALL THE WAY DOWN TO READ ALL INFORMATION.
1972 Chevy Nova Street/Strip build. This is my personal car and I’ve owned the car for a few years. I had a guy trying to work on replacing the mini tubs that were previously installed but was told he might be on drugs so I brought it back home ASAP, currently it is not a good time for this due to we are selling our house.
Here’s a quick scoop on the car... Car ran 10.8 in 1/4 mile and 6.65 in 1/8 mile with a 427 big block. Nova had been mini tubbed and had stock rear-end narrowed. I was having the old tubs replaced for the New Detroit Speed tubs (Included) but you see how that went... In the process the guy was working on bracing the previously notched frame rails in the rear for the new tubs (Which you have to do) and that will need completed. It has a strong 4 point cage installed.
Firewall had a few repairs and was cleaned (Should be about ready for paint) the passenger side floor will need some repair. I purchased a New AMD floor section for this that is included. Passenger side door hinge/spring is broke and will need repair. (New hinge with spring included) Hood is a brand new AMD 4” cowl hood.
Car is believed to have original paint and still features original stickers in the door jamb!
I had brand new Weld Racing S71 wheels build that are 15.1 SFI spec (Certified to run 8.99 in 1/4 mile) and there wrapped in new Mickey Thompson tires. The front is stock disc brakes. Factory big block motor mounts and factory big block heater core. There are two steering columns, one is the original and other one is a factory 4-speed one that I had completely rebuilt to use as I planned on using a floor shifter. Mono leaf with Competition Engineering slide-a-link traction bars, big 10 Chevy rear-end with a spool. I have driveshaft and cross member for car.
Great car with lots of potential it’s just not the time for me and I don’t really have room for it currently as I need to focus on moving. What you see is what you get, it’s a rare find all mostly from 72’ minus the new parts added. Features all original Guide lighting including the RARE 72’ only T3 headlights!
If any questions or need any further pictures of Nova please ask. I’m sure I have a few extra items that go with car but will need to find, mostly everything to put it back together should be here but I make no claim of that as I did not disassemble. Car will need repairs and reassembled but will make awesome true street car!
