1969 Chevelle SS L78. This is an extremely rare SS Chevelle with all Documentation from GM Canada. Was ordered from Jack Carter dealership in Calgary. Engine is date correct and professionally machined and built at Action machine shop in Medicine Hat. Built with the exact GM parts used at the factory. Is standard bore, numbers correct forged rotating assembly. Date correct Winters intake and date correct 4346 Holley carburetor. Car was assembled 4th week of October 1968. Engine block was cast in August 1968. Block needed to be decked so all that is left is the Suffix code, which reads JD which stands for 1969 Chevelle L78 with M21 transmission. Car is a Garrnet Red Black vinyl top, dark red interior. Four speed, bench seat. Most of these cars were ordered by drag racers and they liked the bench seat for weight savings. New floors installed, while retaining the 4 speed hump mid section for correct alignment. New complete trunk installed. The remaining Dynacorn sheet metal to complete the car is still in the original box. It is the best on the market.
