Description of 1949 Chevrolet Other Pickups 5 Window |
This 1949 Chevrolet 3100 5 Window pickup has the classic silhouette, two-tone style, and plenty of real wood. But this is far more than just vintage appeal. You'll see that the sporty stance, upgraded A/C interior, and fresh small block V8 power are part of a well-done total package. Advanced Design Chevy trucks have the iconic shining grille, and we all are on the lookout for the desirable 5-window cab. And this one has distinction that goes much further. Two-tones are always a nice style, especially when done with a metallic blue and silver. This custom presentation goes well with cool details, like the louvered tailgate, blue-dot headlights, and Weld Racing wheels. But these upgrades are not about making this one look like an all-out street machine. Instead, the total package has the overall finish of a distinguished worker. That's also why you also have the cool wood side rails with vineyard logos. There are even oak barrels in the bed (one of them holds your fuel tank.) There's more custom work inside. You can instantly recognize that those bucket seats and cup holder center console in-between offers far better comfort than anything they offered in '49. Plus, the multi-tone gray cloth on the seats sets the tone for the dash, carpeting, and custom door panels. There's even tasteful wood framing the Lokar shifter. There's a ton of comfort features, including an AM/FM/CD stereo, power driver's window, cruise control, and cold-blowing R134a air conditioning. The upgraded sports steering wheel is on a tilt column, and that gives you a clear view to the full upgraded Dolphin gauge package. With only about 4,200 miles on the whole build, the motor looks fresh for a very good reason. This is a 350 cubic-inch V8 from Summit Racing, and it has a sporty appearance with its red ribbed valve covers matching the red plug wires and red brackets. The V8 has nice power upgrades like a Holley four-barrel carburetor, hi-rise intake, and headers feeding the dual exhaust. There are nice supporting components, too, like steel braided hoses and an aluminum radiator w/electric fan. There's also a three-speed automatic transmission, upgraded independent front suspension, power steering, and power brakes w/discs up front. So this is a total package that has power made to be easy to enjoy near or far. Complete with build receipts, this is a detailed build done for both power and comfort. So don't let this distinctive Chevy slip away. Call today!!! |
