Description of 1992 Chevrolet Corvette Base
Hey eBay!
I am selling my 1992 C4 Corvette 5.7L V8 which has 300 horsepower and 330ft-lbs of torque. I absolutely love this car and it is a real pleasure to drive. I have no choice but to sell it because of a change in my career. When I initially purchased this corvette i was working from home (online business) and only drove it maybe 2-3 times per week, now that I am becoming a real estate agent, unfortunately this corvette is not going to cover it, i need 4-doors, really really good gas mileage, and something that is fairly new to meet clients with.
Original Engine matching numbers.
This car has been garage kept during my ownership and you can clearly tell from the interior and exterior that it has been in a garage it's whole life. I have put just over a 1,000 miles on this car, did not drive it very often.
Basic Maintenance
  • The tires are brand new with full tread, less than 1,000 miles on them, BF Goodrich
  • Just changed the engine oil and filter 100 miles ago
  • Transmission fluid is brand new and bright red how it should be.
  • Power steering fluid has been changed.
  • Brake fluid has been changed (Full Brake Bleed)
  • New spark plugs
  • New spark plug wires
  • Changed Coolant
  • Timing Belt
Repairs Under My Ownership
  • New Optispark (very common part to go out prematurely on C4's, very expensive part)
  • New Waterpump, installed with new gaskets
  • Brake Booster (brakes were very tough when i first got the car)
  • New Brake master cylinder, replaced for preventative maintenance
  • New Ignition Control Module, had backfire at high rpm, solved the problem right away.
  • New O2 Sensors, was getting low idle
  • New Idle Air Control Valve, and cleaned throttle body that with 02 sensor fixed low idle.
  • Greased all zert fittings.
