Description of 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Corsa |
1965 CORVAIR CORSA COUPE ”SELLING @ NO RESERVE” Up for your consideration is this absolutely stunning 1965 Corvair Corsa Coupe vin# 107375W280427. This beautiful Corsa is equipped with GM’s rear mount horizontally opposed 4 carb 140hp 6cyl motor mated to a 4 speed manual transmission. The Corsa is the top of the line model for the Corvair and only produced in 1965 and 1966. You could not get a Corsa past 66 which makes this a little more rare than some others. It is in extremely nice condition as you can tell from the current pictures (3/14/2015) and was a former Barrett Jackson car a few years back. The car was originally a North Carolina car in its early years and now resides in South Carolina. This car is one of the sharpest Corvairs I’ve seen in some time. The custom Nissan Orange paint color matched with the Saddle Tan interior makes this an incredible looking Corvair. The paint and body panels are in great condition with no rust issues. The beautiful tan interior just takes this car to the next level. It is very clean and also in excellent condition. Everything about this car looks extremely nice and should please most any buyer. The car runs and drives fantastic and the motor operates as it should so you can feel the 140 horses. This Corsa is not only somewhat rare but also a unique car that you will rarely see at car shows and cruise in night. It does have a few options and aftermarket parts worth mentioning like the AM/FM stereo radio and speakers. factory bumper guards and custom American Racing Torque Thrust 15” wheels in the rear and 14” in the front with low profile tires. The wheels add just the right amount of sporty to this collector car and also helps it drive much better. This is a no apology classic that nearly anyone can afford to own and is selling at NO RESERVE. The Corvairs are just now starting to pick up in price so jump in before they are $20k plus. Please review the pictures and feel free to call and ask all the questions you wish. This beautiful Corvair belongs to and is being offered by a long time Corvair Corsa member and a friend of mine that has asked for my assistance placing his vehicle on eBay. If you have any questions about the cars condition. please feel free to contact Jerry at 864-934-6358. I’m sure he’ll be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
