I started my first Chevelle build about six years ago. What I found was a 66 SS 396 car all original needing restoration. It took me less than a year to restore the car, once I was done I found the car was very boring. There were so many upgrades, mods I wanted to do to make the car a little more modern with lots more power and performance. That is when I decided to Sell the 66 SS. It took me about 4 months to come up with a really solid Malibu with all original sheet metal, basically a great survivor car! This 67 SS tribute Chevelle, with an older but nice paint job, fit the bill. This is a driver not a trailer queen. Something to have fun with, and not stress out when left in a parking lot. I striped every mechanical component from the car and either rebuilt them or replace them with high-performance top-of-the-line parts! Everything done was to make the car drive great, but be very simple, reliable and keep the original classy look intact... This car is an absolute beast! It loves to go!!! It cold be your daily driver, if you want. Paint the car and you will have a show car. I have had the car nearly 5 years now and have been very happy with it, the way it is. How ever it’s timeto let it go. It’s time to build a new dream car!
