Description of 1975 Chevrolet Caprice |
This is an unbelievable original one owner car, with original title, dealer and factory paperwork, owners manual, and yes a gas purchase record indicating mileage and purchase from day one. The car has never had any paint work, accidents, or alterations ever, and is in very good condition for an unrestored - unmolested 45 year old vehicle. The car was purchased from the estate of the original owner, always garaged, and well maintained for its entire 45 year life. This Caprice is finished in the rarest or rare and strikingly attractive combination of metallic brown with beige herringbone interior, a combination which you will never likely see again. Rustproofing when new has well preserved the frame and undercarriage with only surface rust scale in some areas evident. There is some minor and easily repairable rust in the usual places behind the lower rockers at the front and rear wheels. I had considered repairing these areas, but a car is a rare original survivor only once, so I wanted to maintain its originality and unaltered condition for the new forever owner to best assess condition and desired repairs. Options include the 400 CID V8 Engine, AC, Power windows, top, seats, tilt wheel, cruise, economy gauge package, rear defogger, remote mirrors, bumper guards, newer white wall radial tires. All Chrome and windows are in excellent condition, interior door panels and plastics, and carpets also in very good shape. Considering drivability, the car fires right up, drives amazing. Getting behind the wheel of this car brings you back to a motoring day long gone where excess, opulence, and boulevard cruising was a favorite weekend past time. The Caprice Classic Convertible was an icon of its generation and is rapidly appreciating. Amazingly, this car was the vehicle of the Brady Bunch family, having 1972 - 75 models in their driveway. Purchase with confidence, understanding and appreciating what a rare find this car truly is. |
