Description of 1990 Chevrolet Suburban |
Easy project for someone, I’ve already started replacing a lot of items on it and ordered what else is needed. Truck has 4 new tires (less than 200 miles), new AC system, recent rebuild engine and transmission (has a 350 engine and 700r4 transmission), all window and door seals replaced except for drivers side rear door (I lost interest in project as I was doing those), added Blazer bumpers (front and rear), new rear window, coolant overflow tank. Very clean interior, nice body with no rust - there are typical dings from years of daily driving, also a small dent on front passenger door (see photo). She isn’t perfect but she’s a looker - I always got compliments and thumbs up when I took her out for a cruise. Comes with a cool antenna oil drop topper and spare key holder that sticks on the underbody - both items are true to the era of this Suburban and really kind of cool to have! ;) New parts included and still in box: wiper switch, heater core, front 2†drop springs, LMC Frame Support Kit (for the steering box), door/window seal kit, rearview mirror, door hinge kit, door locks, tie rods, ball joints and 2 used/replacement seatbelts assembly's. Needs: window wipers don’t work, heater core bypassed, rear window tries to roll down but won’t (new seals too tight), needs blower motor for front, rear AC can be noisy at times, sticky door (passenger side rear), radio doesn’t work, battery may need replaced (It’s been sitting and needed a jump today), a few of the seatbelts do not retract as they should they are worn. Really a weekend or two of easy work and she should be good to go again as a daily driver. Sold as-is with no California smog certificate (it has current registration/tags) because the check engine light is on for a temp sensor and I don’t have time to replace and smog it right now. I do have the factory air lid/cleaner assembly for the buyer to be included. Clean California title, no accidents, the eBay vehicle report is inaccurate, I have paperwork from the DMV today (2/4) showing a clean title to verify upon request since the online service is showing inaccurate information. Keep as is, bag it, LS swap it, whatever you desire!I lost interest in my car hobby when I got into riding atv/quads, so I am selling all my non daily driver cars.We also have two 4th Gen Firebirds we will be listing and selling soon, one is a convertible street/drag car and the other is a drag car. This Suburban comes from a home that knows cars and treated it well, I’ve owned it for nearly 3 years now and will be sad to see it go but like the other cars it’s taken a back seat to my new hobby. We are located in the foothills about a hour East from Sacramento or Stockton, if you are local you are welcome to come check the Suburban out! |
