First off my name is Robert, I Am a huge car collector and have been into cars for 30 years. I am a ASE Master paint and body tech, diesel tech, and master auto tech . Along with many other ICAR certs chief certs and so on so forth... I know my stuff very Well and will do the best I can to describe the vehicle and answer any questions. I really didn't have time to wash it so - it is what it i, but cleaned up it presents even nicer . This is a super solid, super straight 1977 c10 squarebody my brother and I bought about 3-4years ago. 41, 000 original miles . The truck was from Texas, then sold To a guy that worked for the postal Service up in Minnesota . The postal worker (previous owner) was transferring to a warmer state like Arizona and couldn't bring the truck with him so we bought it- he sold it to us . . We where amazed at how super perfect the interior and dash was how nice the body and paint was, and how solid the truck was underneath. All original GM body Panels. All Floors, crossmemebers, core support door bottoms, rockers and cab corners still have original spot welds at the seams. beautiful professional body and paint work - buffed out to a glass like finish - 9/10 I didn't have time to detail the interior but the dash, door panels, rubber floor line, seat, gauge, a/c workin, nice glas, etc - amazing condition for age - not all reupholstered with incorrect materials and cheap aftermarket stuff - this interior is all GM and nice id give it a solid 9 /10 1, Underside of truck is nice, clea, black, and rust free- frame is solid and like new and so are all bed, floo, crossmembers core support and floors - super clean underside 9/10 , Trim bumpers moldings glass, wheels tires hubcaps 9/10. Now for the mechanics:Original 350 Ran perfect but was not a real hotrod So my brother installed a $5500, Fully built 383 Stoker Engine. under the hood she looks pretty original with stock colors and exhaust manifolds .. When you fire this truck up with the new pro bent dual exhaust it sounds very VERY unoriginal . It doesn't even sound close to stock ! 10.5-1 Compression, fully ported 441 Heads, Big cam, roller rockers screw in studs, the whole 9Yards. 9/10 on the engine THE TRANS IS THE STOCK TURBO 350 WITH A LITTLE STAHL CONVERTER, THE TRANS IS OK AND SHIFTS THROUGH THE GEARS BUT HONESTLY IT DOESN'T SHIFT FIRMLY, THE ENGINE IS TOO MUCH FOR THE STOCK TRANS. I would recommend having trans freshened with a nice set of Kevlar clutches and a nice firm shift kit. Or a 700R4 Overdrive would be sweet. The trans does work and you can drive it as is but it's just Not gonna hold up to that engine for a long time. I would jump in the truck and still drive anywhere but I wouldn't be horsing on it. Anyways I hope you get my drift on the trans - so i give it a 6/10 BRAKE, E BRAK, STEERING, SUSPENSION, GAS TANK, SENDING UNIT HEAT, Air conditioning are all very good and work properly.. 9/10 Tires 8/10 Lights and electric is all original and proper 9/10. Anyways i hope this gives you a good idea of the truck - its really nic, really solid and with little effort could be a 9.5- 10/10 truck . We have a clear title In hand ---- after payment is cleared will release the truck and help load it for you if your sending a transporter . We will also set the original 350 engine In the bed and strap it down well . we have some new stailess headers and a original aircleaner included as well . This is a super nice truck inside and out and underneath. deposit in 24 hrs and full payment must be made in 7 days . as-is sale as always - no refunds of anykind .
