Chevrolet S-10 . Condition is Used. Classic first generation S10, actually a GMC Sonoma, with emblems removed and a Chevrolet grille. Desirable 4.3 liter engine, runs quiet and transmission shifts smooth 203 k and plenty of life left. 4 wheel disc brake, rear axle is from a 98 S10 342 gears and posi traction. Z28 Camaro wheels with new 215 75 15 tires. Tilt steering that is tight as a tick. I red loctited the 4 screws that typically come loose on these units and create slop. Truck is not museum quality,, but it is an nice example for its age. Getting harder and harder to find first generation S10's in decent shape. I love the first generation S10 Ive owned 5 of them and put V8 motors in three of them. This truck would be perfect for a hot rod/V8 transplant. Lots of new parts, brand new tires, new windshield, brakes, Two tone Ford shadow gray metallic on top of GM dark blue metallic...lots of compliments wherever you go. Now for the Bad, Heater core is bypassed, AC needs to be recharged, I installed new compressor and accumulator and needs recharge. New compressor not rebuilt. Parking brakes have no cables and are not hooked up.
