1964 Chevrolet Corvette. Condition is Used. This car has been in indoor storage at the airport for 28 years. We have owned this car since 9/10/1976. It was painted and reupholstered in 1976, which is evident by the colors. Mechanical work was done including rebuilding of the speedometer/odometer. The odometer had 65363 on it and was reset to 00000 miles. It now reads 9314 miles. The stock transmission a Muncie close ratio 4 speed with reverse lock out was overhauled in mid 1980's. The engine is a 1969 Chevy 427 Big Block. The 454 heads have been overhauled with new parts and ready to install on the short block. The short block has been bored .040 over, magnafluxed, new freeze plugs, new cam and crank bearings, new bolts. The cam is new and the crank is original. The crank has been magnafluxed and the journals polished. The cam and crank are installed. The pistons, rings, rods and bearings are new and ready to be installed. The tires are for rolling only. The bumpers were re-chromed in 1976 and need to be done again. I have the original hub caps but not the convertible top, just the hard top.
