Numbers matching 1965 corvette convertible 396/425HP Project

Big Block Corvette Roadster with matching numbers! The car was in a garage fire years ago after which I purchased it to rebuild. After starting the rebuild process, life happened and the car is how you see it now, minus the body. As you can see in the photos, many of the parts are restored and the engine is rebuilt. The transmission and rear differential have not yet been built. The numbers on the engine and transmission IN NO WAY appear to be re-stamped, which means, this is the REAL DEAL!

One important piece of information is that the trim tag was lost in the fire. A restoration tag will be needed. The car is currently registered, however there is no title for cars this age in the state of AL.

Also, open to offers on just the VIN, engine, transmission and differential.
