Description of 1969 Chevrolet C-10 NICEST YOU WILL FIND |
INTERNATIONAL AND OVERSEAS BUYERS WELCOME. PLEASE CALL ME AT (76O) 8O5-803eight WITH ANY QUESTIONS. Have some fun this summer! Cruise with your girl down Highway 101 to check the sunset, take the kids for Ice Cream, win a trophy at the weekend Car Show, or just hit the beach. This truck is ready to show and enjoy the day that you get it. It is an absolutely beautiful 1969 Chevrolet C20 Longbed Custom Camper Edition that has a body-off, stock style restoration performed and is turnkey and ready to go. If you are tired of looking at overpriced junk, you will need to see this one in person to truly appreciate just how nice it is. You could look for years to find another one this good and you certainly could not come close to restoring it for what you can buy this one for today. The paint and body are gorgeous. The truck is completely rust free and arrow straight. The finish on the paint is like glass. The fit and finish is excellent. The doors shut with that nice thud sound that only the good trucks have. The hood fits like new, as does the tailgate. The rockers, floorboards, frame, etc. are all in beautiful condition. The frame and undercarriage were all restored as well and are nearly as clean as the top side. It was professionally re-finished in it's factory color scheme of Olive Green with a painted White top. Factory upper and lower wood grain trim in excellent condition. All of the glass is in excellent condition and the windows roll up and down smoothly. The engine is a 350 cubic inch small block Chevy crate motor that runs perfectly. It was done to look like a factory correct original but with updated performance. It is nothing radical but it does perform beautifully. It starts first time, every time and settles into a smooth idle. It is very strong. It is relatively quiet with factory exhaust manifolds and new stainless dual exhaust. If you are looking for a Hot Rod with headers and huge tires, THIS IS NOT IT! It was re-done to stock specifications. The engine compartment is show quality and very detailed. HEI ignition. Big aluminum radiator to ensure that it always runs cool even in Southern California traffic. The factory air conditioning system was completely gone through and restored. The AC WILL FREEZE YOU OUT! It is optioned with Power Steering and Power Brakes. New radial tires mounted on factory painted steel wheels with Dog Dish hubcaps. The fifth tire for a spare is mounted underneath and is also new. Simply put, the Chevy runs, drives, and performs like a new 69 Chevy just driven off of the showroom floor. The Black vinyl custom interior is like new. The seats and the door panels are both the factory deluxe with the patterns on them. Padded dash. The paint on the inside including the dash and the roof is immaculate. The carpet is like new. All of the gauges and factory in-dash tachometer were restored. They are very clear. Replacement AM/FM stereo but no cutting was done. It looks like a factory radio. I believe every single thing on the truck works. The gauges, lights, turn signals, interior lights, wipers, radio, AC, heater, and defroster all function as new. Even the windshield washers were restored but honestly I have never tried them. While the truck is a stunning example, it is also not perfect either. In the interest of full disclosure and being honest and upfront so you are more than happy with your new truck, here are the only nit-picky things I have found. Most people probably wouldn't even notice them. There is one tiny paint chip about the size of the tip of a pencil on the top of the bed rail on the passenger side. It could easily be fixed but I doubt that you would care to. There is a tiny ding in the stainless trim on the passenger side. There are a few very minor bubbles in the paint on the driver's door. There is a hairline crack in the dash pad near the passenger door opening. I never even saw it for quite a while. The bumpers look great from five feet away but do have some pitting up close and surface rust on the back side that you can't see. They certainly do not need to be re-done but I believe reproductions were used and I would probably have some factory ones re-chromed. The wood in the bed is in excellent condition but if you wanted to win even more shows, it could probably use a fresh coat of stain or varnish. It has a nice rubber mat cover in it now so you could do that whenever you choose. That's about it. I do not believe anybody will be disappointed with this Chevy. Clean, clear California title in hand. All in all, you will have an extremely difficult time finding a cleaner one for the money. It is far nicer than most of them that are out there. Please be realistic with your expectations. I am located in Cardiff, CA in North County Coastal San Diego. Inspections in person are encouraged. Thanks and good luck!
