Description of 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Nomad

Hello, I’m listing this Nomad for a friend, it’s not my car, but I know the car very well! So I’m telling you what was told to me over the years and I spent time with him at Chevy shows all over the East coast where he took Trophy’s at most shows. This Nomad was brought back from Texas and put into storage in 1972 until Bob purchased it around 1998, Is was completed around 2005. So it was a great No-Rust car to start with. Frame off restoration was done, Rebuilt 454 was bored 10 over, now producing about 380HP, Rebuilt Muncy 4 speed was added with a Ford 9inch with new post unit and 350 gears. Looking under the hood you will see no wires, all hidden and super clean compartment! The unbelievable interior was done in Louisville Ky. By the famous Scott’s Interiors, many trophies for this work, super clean with custom Dash, Dakota Digital instruments, Full custom consul running from Dash to back seat! Bucket seats, custom Headliner, door panels are custom, then checkout the rear area with tailgate, something special! Now we move to the Kicker Brand, Representive installed $15,000 sound system! Speakers everywhere, look at the consul in rear seat that puts on a light show thru out the car, this alone draws a crowd at night! Consul has a cover to hide all the switches. Custom Boyd Wheel was added along with matching Boyd Steering Wheel for a great touch! The gas tank filling cap was hidden for a custom touch on the left fin area, notice this in the one picture. 4 Wheel Disk Brakes, along with custom Duel Polished Stainless exhaust with special clamps, painted underside that is clean as the top side of the wagon! This car is not a trailer Queen, but driven to all shows including the Tri-5 Nationals in Bowling Green Kentucky the last 4 years. The paint has held up like new and has no chips or marks, no damage to any areas. This Nomad has been in many magazines and was a cover car for the Bow tie Times and many other pics in the Classic Chevy International, Tri-5 Times, Bow tie Times, plus more. Bob has decided to downsize his collection of cars, we are all getting older! But this is one fine Nomad that you can get in and drive cross country! You could not buy and build a finer car for the price he is selling it for! This is a great car that will last forever! As I stated before, this is not my car, but any questions that you have I will try to answer and be happy to give you Bobs phone number so you can ask him? Before you ask, I will tell you that there is no AC, but that can be installed. The kit from Vintage air runs about $1400.00. Easy to install. Shipping will be up to the buyer, we will be happy to meet your driver. I will be happy to give you Bobs Phone number if you have any serious question, So grab a suitcase and be ready to load this Nomad up with trophies!
Thank You, Mike
