Up for Auction is my 1981 Red Corvette Coupe with 83,507 original miles. The car starts and runs good. The brake pedal needs adjusted and could possibly use more fluid. I do not recommend driving it any long distance until that is fixed. The paint is original and could use some repair on the hood, nose cone, and a few other places around the vehicle. The drivers side T-Top is in great shape and seals good. The passenger side T-Top is cracked on top and taped in the corner but the bottom glass is still in tact and seals. The headlight actuators both work but engage when the car is started. The lights and signals all work. The vehicle has a cd player installed that works and is not original. The bucket seats are original and if fair condition with some minor cracks due to age. The front windshield has a small crack in the lower left hand corner. The dash has some cracks due to age. Both the power windows work and the back glass is in good shape with no cracks. The door panels need work and are original please see the photos. I do not have a door key and have the ignition key only. I bought this vehicle on ebay in 2016 and have driven it around town. It is not a show car but a fun driver and gets a lot of positive comments. The engine runs strong and sounds great. The muffler is in decent shape however I installed a seal around the pipe leading to the muffler to seal a leak. This is a inexpensive great project car with a low reserve. I am trying to be as honest and upfront as I can. A $500 deposit is required via paypal within 24 hours, and the remainder of the total can be paid in cash or bank check at time of pickup. Buyer is responsible for shipping, and full payment is due within 7 days. I prefer a Tuesday or Wednesday pick up as I am off work on those days.
