1966 Chevrolet Corvair Monz, SS trim- What Chevrolet might have made if it offered a Corvair SS. This is a fresh build, with little that is not rebuilt or new.Ground effects skirts, lowered suspension, and Trans AM spoiler on a straight body with new urethane paint. New upholstery on a bucket seat interior, new head liner,Bluetooth stereo,Rebuilt brakes, front steering, and shocks all around. Engine is professionally rebuilt with 270 cam, bored .040 over, big valve heads, exhaust extractors, and 38/38 weber type carb on center mount manifold. Motor was done by Casa de Corvair. New clutch and pressure plate, 4 speed, rebuilt alt., new battery. 15x 8 wheels with 205 55 R15 tires, also new.
As mentioned, this is a fresh build, and as such still has some bugs to work out:clutch linkage adjustment, fine tune the engine, and the paint, while new and very presentable, could use further polishing for sand scratches. Even so, this is a damn good looking car, and will not embarrass you at cruise night.
