Description of 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 |
1957 Bel Air Coupe, V8, Wire Wheels, Sidepipes, Skirts, One of a Kind! One of the most beautiful cars made in America is the 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Coupe. A true American icon, this one is finished in the most desirable combination of Black with Red/Black interior. Fully restored, this car shows better than new. Bodywork is impeccable with minimal defects. Chrome and stainless brightwork show well. But it also has a few unexpected twists..... Beautiful full chrome wire wheels roll on new Coker Bias-Look wide whitewall radial tires. The classic continental kit is the tasteful smaller factory version. Factory fender skirts are stored in the trunk for when you want that classic cruiser look. And lets discuss those sidepipes! Brand new chrome sidepipes with chrome heat guards really stand out. And these have electric powered cutouts for when you're really in the mood to do a little more than quiet cruising! Of course, these can be removed and returned to stock at the buyers discretion. But, like it or not, they do make a statement with the wire wheels! And it certainly stands out when you're in a sea of early Chevys. After you get past the exterior glamour, this one is restored to original. Original red and black fabric interior is in mint condition. Powered from the 283ci V8 is delivered to the road via a column mounted 3-speed manual transmission. Power steering, power brakes, modern air conditioning all make it a joy to drive. The condition of the body, undercarriage, interior, engine compartment, etc. are all in outstanding condition and ready to be enjoyed whether you prefer to show or drive! Not often found, this is an unusual 1957 Bel Air. Call Art & Speed at 901-850-0507 before it sneaks away.
