Description of 1961 Chevrolet Impala |
If you like beautiful original Impalas this is the one. Laser straight lines with a good paint job (less than 10yrs old showing some minor imperfections). Interior is all original showing minimal wear for its age. but looks great. Turn the key and go. this car runs great with no squeaks or annoying rattles. The car has original 283 V8 engine. drum brakes. Power steering. power bench seat (not working perfectly). new floor mats. aftermarket seat belts installed in front. as well as many professionally installed improvements done to make it run perfectly and turn heads along the way. Upgrades include; Two-speed turbo 350 transmission. Registered Y. O. M yellow California license plates. Dyno tunning the engine. all new wiring and harnesses by American Auto Wire. American Classic Radial white wall tires. KYB Shocks. Trailing arm bushings. Dynomat the inside. complete engine paint detail. new custom stereo with Amps and subs (Original Stereo remains in stock location). New detachable face stereo is mounted under seat with faceplate mounted on sun visor (very cool). All speakers concealed in kick panels and hat rack to maintain original look. Fender skirts and car cover included. the car still has original drum brakes as well. I thought about upgrading them. but didn't want to mess with the original look. There are so many things I have done to this car to enhance its beautiful originality its to hard to list or even remember everything. for the past five years that I have owned the car it has driven perfectly for me every time I take it out. From what I know about the history is that it is a LA built car that has spent a majority of its life in Arizona. I purchased the car from a guy in Alabama that flips vehicles for a living. he bought it from the owner in Arizona and then sold it to me less than a year after purchasing it. It has been garaged and very well cared for since I have owned it. This car turns many heads and is a dream to drive. RESERVE PRICE IS LOWER THEN BUY IT NOW PRICE.
