Description of 1967 Chevrolet Camaro Deluxe interior package |
Rust free, numbers matching California car. The original owner was a mechanic at Guaranty Chevrolet in San Diego, and he purchased the car for his mother. She drove it until 1991 and it was in storage until I purchased it last year. No accident damage ever. After removal from storage, brake hydraulic components were replaced, fluids were changed, new battery was installed, engine was tuned up and tires were replaced. I drove it from California to Georgia with only minor issues, averaging 17.6 mpg. The odometer shows 35,656. True mileage is 135,656. The engine, transmission, rear end and interior (except the carpet) are all original to the car and are unrestored. The car was re-sprayed the original color in the 1970's. The engine runs smooth, clutch works well and the transmission shifts fine. The brakes work well. The engine uses about 1 quart of oil per fill-up. The gas guage does not work. The left turn signal does not cancel. Has the original window sticker, bill of sale, new car delivery report, owners manual, and shop manuals. Georgia does not issue a title for cars this old, but I have the paper trail. Factory options include 327 V-8, deluxe interior package, vinyl roof cover, floor shift lever, tinted windshield, push button radio, full wheel covers and the required California air injection pump with closed PCV system. Dealer installed options include power steering, power front disc brakes, remote control drivers side mirror, GM clips to hold the front seat belts, and a gas filler cap with wire tether. |
