Description of 1953 Chevrolet Other Pickups

1953 Chevrolet 3100

Three window short box half ton, has original engine and transmission. See pictures above for engine and transmission casting/serial numbers. Engine turns over by hand but starter is not working. Has the 4 speed GM Muncie SM420 transmission. Does have all of its glass but both door glass and drivers side of the windshield is cracked. Surface rust on driver side floor and under seat, floor still feels strong. There is holes on the passenger side floor/toe board. Driver cab corner looks pretty good, passenger side is starting to pit and is weak. Odometer shows 35,506 miles, may not be accurate. Still has the radio delete plate in the dash, have some of the original paper work and several documents from what i assume is the original owner dating back to the mid 50's. Clean Montana Title.
