Description of 1978 Chevrolet Other Pickups K10 -- 4x4, 454 w/TH400, Short Bed |
For sale is a beautiful 1978 Chevy K-10 two tone in Chevrolet tangier orange and white. This was a recentrestoration (2016-2017) to a southern solid bodied truck that spent most ofits life in New Mexico. Rust free frame(see pictures) that's in great shape for the age of the truck! Contact me for additional photos of the restoration process. (Linniger12@gmail.com)
--Paint was sprayed in 2017. Not a "perfect" paint finish in some areas but truly still looks great.See pictures for better depiction of the paint. --This is the Bonanza package (fender emblems are included). Power windows, power door locks, power steering, power brakes (all working), air conditioning (currently not working), cargo lamp, factory tinted front windshield, tilt steering wheel,AM radio (currently not working), clock (currently not working) --Drivers side floorboard has some rust (a little on passenger side). A section of the floorboard will need to be cut and replaced. Please see pictures. --For the past 2.5-3 years, the truck has sat in storage covered up until recently being started back up.During the time it was sitting, it was slowly leaking coolant, possibly out of the heater core. Not leaking oil or any other fluids except that slow coolant leak. I would imagine it’s a simple fix, but do not want to invest more time into the truck. The truck starts up well, but ends up dying out once it warms up a bit. Could be a thermostat issue, not entirely sure. The truck could use a tune up after sitting for that duration, but starts up well. --After the restoration, some trim pieces have not yet been installed such as the mirrors, door seals, seat belts and other small trim pieces. Door seals are included, they will just need installed. Because of this, a test drive will not be permitted on the road but the truck can be started, moved, ran, whatever--just not road legal. Because the truck is currently not road legal, you will need to arrange for shipping or transportation. This would be a fantastic truck for someone who will put in a little more effort to make a great running classic truck. I have additional photos that document some of the restoration process upon request.Selling the truck because I don't drive it enough and would like someone else to enjoy it as much as I have. Asking $19,000 obo. Thanks, Lucas Cell--call or text: (574)-two zero two-4510 Email:Linniger12@gmail.com |
