Description of 1967 Chevrolet Camaro Rally Sport |
**I had this car on Ebay a month ago, had allot of interest, at that time the owner could not find the pink slip, NOW WE HAVE FOUND IT!! This is a rare find, it should be in a collection or museum, 1967 Camaro, rallysport trim package-but not showing RS on trim tag, 327 two barrel, auto trans-power glide-column shift, black bench/bucket with fold down center armrest, folddown rear seat, a speaker panel has been installed where the back seat is, did not drill or damage, seat folds up correctly-can be easily removed, still has original wheels-tires and spare on the car, stock hub caps-has glue on reflectorsthat can come off easy, has power steering and standard brakes, drums all around, parked since 1988, I did not want to wash or off the engine as the paper stickers are original and did not want to damage them, fog lights will be taken off before shipment. I deal with allot of rare cars, I will not take the time to start it properly, as if you know these old cars like I do, you need to take out the spark plugs-take off the carburetorthen pour Marvel oil down the intake and turn the crank with a ratchet. Then the valve covers shouldcome off to soak the valve seals. This is common knowledgeand should be done by the next owner. Also everybody forgets-these are high compression engines, they had pump gas in 67 that had higher octanes and lead-they need octane boost and simulated lead added to the gas to keep them alive. Yes, it has low original miles, no faded paint, no pitted chrome, no rust-stored in a cool dry place with no mice. Hagerty, NADA or Old Car Buyers Guide doesn't even have a clear way or categoryto value this car as it is not restored, low miles and no modifications or upgrades-still has factory tires, wheels and hub caps. It has a unique value. ***** Many Camaro experts have commented about the RS grill is not correct on this car, I took a clear picture of the firewall plaque at the request of may collectors and it does not have the proper code. I went back to the owner, that I am selling it for, who bought it new and he says it was not wrecked or had a grille change. He is 85 years old, a great guy and I don't think he is Lying-he has no reason to. I have to agree with all the collectors and Camaro enthusiasts, that this is a BASE car, with low miles and in unbelievable condition. It still has good value as it is so clean. There is a letter on the trim tag with the RS front end, that may account for it coming from the factory like this.Any Questions, call Bob at 530-209-2897 |
