This gorgeous 1978 25th Anniversary edition was converted into a convertible by the original dealership. (in 1978 only t-tops and hard tops were produced by the manufacture) The original 350 engine was also built into a 383 Stroker with a high-rise intake. The engine runs very strong,does not smoke and it has no oil leaks.The automatic transmission is very smooth and shifts flawlessly .Also the original wheels were replaced with Dayton spoke (true knock-off) wheels. The power window, brakes and air conditioning are all in good working order, the am/fm radio was replaced with a new Retro Bluetooth stereo and upgraded speakers just a year ago. (looks like the original equipment only with all the benefits of Bluetooth technology) Just the sound of the engine really turns heads, not to mention how beautiful the car looks. The car isn't perfect but very close. it has a couple very small dings. it is after all 42 years old. interior and dash is in excellent shape and the manual top is like new. We have loved owning the car however my toy box is running over and the wife wants a vacation home.. time to let some other lucky person enjoy this beauty.
