Chevrolet SS Chevelle . It is a 138 code true SS 396 Chevelle. It was painted in 2013 in Matador Red with black racing stripes and shows very well. The Chevelle has a factory 4 speed Muncie M21 “Rock Crusher†on the floor with a Hurst shifter, with a 12 bolt/308 posi traction rear end. The 396 is period correct and was rebuilt in 1979 and has 2200 hours on it since rebuild. The transmission was rebuilt and given a new heavy duty clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing and the flywheel was re-surfaced in 2016 and has under 100 miles on it. The Chevelle also has a Bulletproof Bell housing, ladder bars, front power disc brakes, chrome pulleys, chrome water pump, chrome alternator, power brakes, power steering, MSD 6A ignition and MSD wires, Edelbrock Air Gap intake, Holley 4 barrel carburetor, headers, dual exhaust, after market tach/oil pressure/temperature/amperage gauges, spare tire, car cover. The car rides on Ridler wheels. This Chevelle made an appearance in the January 2011 edition of Popular Hot Rodding. Complete Restoration Photo album included.
