Description of 1937 Chevrolet HOT ROD |
This is a very cool Hot Rod that cost a lot to build. It has been driven and enjoyed since. It does need some touch ups in the paint. No expense was spared on the paint back when it was built. Cool air brushed custom flames. All steel body and fenders. The frontfenders have some cracks and chips in the paint and the left rear fenderwas hit by a rock from the lawn mower. I am a paint and body man and was just going to redo the fenders and paint them solid yellow. I think there is too many flames and solid fenders would tone it down a bit. The deck lid had a engineered electric opener made from an electric window motor that is now removed. You will need to put on the original style handle or custom latch. It looks to have a Chevelle front suspension and rear end. I am more into Muscle cars now and decided to sell the car as is and let the new owner make it their own. It NEEDS NOTHING to drive and enjoy! You can save the touch ups for a winter project, or do a little more and flip it. When a decent hot rod cost $30,000-$50,000 this one is VERY AFFORDABLE for most anyone. The car starts easy, sounds great, and drives very nice. NO leaks under this car. 350 with 350 Turbo trans, power steering and power disc brakes up front. The interior still looks very nice! The original style front seat was replaced at some point with what looks like mini van seats (very comfortable). NEW Torque Thrust II polished wheels and tires Air conditioning (may need a can, compressor kicks in but doesn't get real cool) Aluminum radiator with electric cooling fan Aluminum engine accessory drive kit and pulleys Edelbrock intake and carb Coated hugger headers magnaflow exhaust VDO gauges Flaming River tilt steering column and components Grant rosewood steering wheel Lokar shifter and gas pedal Pioneer stereo/CD player with remote Tinted glass all around The turn signals, emergency flashers, headlights (high and low beam), tail lights, brake lights, license plate light, electric wipers, all gauges, and speedometer all work as they should. Horn and digital ODO are not working. Rear view mirror glass is missing. Please call with any questions you may have. Thanks, Mike 479-228-4304 |
