1962 Corvette # 20867S112051 (late model) - Manually operated soft top (white) Wonderbar radio 1962 was a special year for Corvettes - The last year of production for the fabulous "C-1" and the first year of the more powerful 327 cubic inch "V-8" 5.36L engine which replaced the former 283 cubic inch units and would then power following Sting Rays. With a total run of 14,531, this matching numbers car has a 250 HP base engine with a single 4 barrel carburetor, 4 speed close ratio Synchro-Mesh transmission, independent coil spring from suspension with heavy duty stabilizer bar, rear suspension by radius rods and outrigger mounted semi elliptic leaf springs with stabilizer bar in Honduras Maroon with Fawn beige interior. 1962 was the last year for the wrap around windshield, solid rear axle and convertible axle body style. The car was purchased by a collector from Mershon's of Ohio in 2009 with 1,000 miles and the sold to a collector in 2017 with 2937 miles.
