1957 Chevrolet Bel Air This cruiser is a restomod of sorts. The builder was a 1957 Chevy nut. He has built several. All his restorations are to show and go. He updates all his cars so as to drive and enjoy them. Please try come drive this really neat build. Car drives with one finger. He used the power steering gear box from a later model Chev. Really turns easy. Transmission updated to a 3-speed turbo from later Chev. Good update over the early power glide, tranny. He is not a fan of the old style drum brakes. He upgraded to disk brakes also added a late model brake booster. It will put you through windshield. His goal is always to have a 1957 that looks all original but drives like a new car. He spent $4200 at interior shop. Seats and door panels done by Ciadella interiors. Factory correct right down to number of stitches per inch. Front and rear bumpers are beautiful! They look to be new and are show quality. Very pretty with factory bumper guards. All stainless looks very nice. The paint is dead on original factory 757 tropical turquoise. Absolutely gorgeous. Come look. Tires are pretty new and exhaust is quiet. Been replaced. This is truly a very good body and car. Has no squeaks or rattles. The factory radio does not work. The factory clock in the dash does not work. All else is well, its a good one. The original Chevrolet 283 has been gone through-needs nothing.
