Very rare Napco 4x4, 100% original with a complete frame-off-restoration completed in 2009. Numbers matching only 37,500 on the 235 ci Blue Flame motor when I bought it in 2014. Originally the truck started as an ambulance from the fire fighters village of Spring Green, Wisconsin 7/13/1961. The next owner was Alan Boucher of Dorset, Vermont and he sold the vehicle with 22,000 miles in 1993 to Ironworks, South Royalton, Vermont. The steel yard later sold at 32,855 miles to a German couple that bought it and drove it to Florida. It was then put into an extensive frame off restoration of which over $50,000 was invested. When I purchased it I had it shipped in an enclosed trailer to Washington State. There were some things that needed some attention that I was able to complete...Mileage now is at 38,523 Renewed the following: -New radiator core utilizing the original top and bottom-New heater core to enable proper Deluxe heater operation as original-New thermostat-New Temp sending unit-New Chrome style coil-New period correct tires - STA Super Traxion Tires 7.5 - 16LT 8Ply Construction (Have a spare as well)-New black floor mats with red "bowtie" emblem-Installed a Deluxe Instrument Cluster and set the Odometer to what the original was atprior to removal (have the original cluster that is included with the sale)-New carburetor with a Holly Fuel Pressure Regulator installed (huge difference that makes)-Complete tune-up including new, plugs, points, condenser, distributor cover, plug wires etc.-New NAPA battery-All new fluids which includes, brake, front and rear differential, & transfer case.-Resealed transfer case as well-All new hoses to radiator and heater sytem-New period correct visor added to drivers side in gray-New RED 3" DEIST Competition lap belts as shown in photos-Plus more...totaling over $10,000 In the summer of 2016 I entered the truck in the Annual 'Snohomish Classic Car & Hot Rod Display' for the class of - 'Stock Trucks All Years' of which it took FIRST PLACE! (Trophy Plaque included in the sale)This beautiful panel truck has also been featured in 'Collectible Automobile Magazine' December 2014 edition (copy included in sale)I have the original window sticker as well. Everything functions as it should except for the vacuum gauge of the instrument cluster & window washer sprayer (an easy fix)The body is extremely straight and the paint is in fantastic condition. There are just a few rust bubbles at the bottom of the forward right fender. Other than that this truck is a real head turner!I have stored the vehicle inside the entire time I have owned it.Please review the photos as they speak for themselves. The engine starts right up and purrs like a kitten. The transmission shifts fine through all gears and the 4x4 hub lockers engage with ease. All chrome is in excellent condition. The Heavy Duty Bumper was a Dealer option and is on the build sheet. There are 2 Heavy Duty Tow Hooks that are tucked under the front bumper (so cool)! The wood in the bed was replaced with new marine grade wood and finished well with varnish. The entire inside of the truck was painted in a beautiful gray paint as well as the dash. You will not find a finer example of such a rare & unusual vehicle! If you should have any questions at all, please feel free to ask & I will promptly get back to you. Thanks for Looking & Bidding!!
