About this vehicleThis 1968 Chevrolet Impala is an original with updates to the exterior. The owner has had it for 3 years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for car shows. i pulled it out of storage to clean it up, I took this car in trade 3 years ago because it was so straight. Pics will reflect all body lines are crisp. It’s a true survivor car, has been repainted looks good but isn’t a professional job, the beauty of this car, it has 55000 original miles, it was stored in a container for 28 years, it has a factor installed 396 400 trans posi rear end. The motor is whisper quiet minus the vacuum from having no air cleaner attached.trans shifts perfectly, posi is true posi not limited slip at 30 mph...the body of this car is arrow straight, it has small spots of filler (as they all do) bumpers have been painted for the blackout look, grille as well really like nice too...engine bay is how I acquired it, most don’t like it detailed they want to see it in its raw form. trunk pan has small pin holes. This is the Impala custom with wheel skirts, pot metal is in great shape headlight bezels door handle and mirror have some scale or pitting. All glass is good. The interior is nice but needs work in rear, two sail panels are rolling up from heat and age, front floors have been patched, (decent job) rigid but hollow sound, kick plates are really nice dashboard has 2 hairline cracks in center. Headliner looks good until it get to back window where sail panels need work. The frame is very nice on this car, it has roll out tires on it, I previously sold the wheels, it will come with a brand new set of tires, I will post receipts when delivered. It’s a project but a very nice one you can drive while repairing. Right front wheel needs a wheel cylinder ...this is everything I know about the car. It’s rock solid folks, don’t miss this one. The price reflects the documented low miles, straight body, big block drive train and clear southern title...I need to be close to offering price as that’s how much I gave in trade. Buy with confidence, I’m 100% on my feedback, I don’t embellish about my cars and people buy from me. I reserve the right to end the auction early, zero feedback bidders must email first before bidding otherwise, your bids will be cancelled. I have a video of the motor running and the exhaust. I also have before pics of the car to show this isn’t a bond bucket. Rare as this car is I wished I could’ve gotten it before paint it was red. Hey everyone, I just looked at my feedback I see I was given a negative. I’ve been 100% for five years, this guy bids on my car, places a deposit, then says his wife won’t let him purchase, I still have the car, he never came to see it, so he resorts to saying it was old picture. Anyone interested in viewing the pics, you’ll see they were date stamped with my iPhone for date of Ebay auction sale. Furthermore, I don’t sell rusty cars, it has one spot on the quarter panel, but it’s a 1994? You’ll see the car is in great shape as are all my cars. this particular car was my personal car I was selling because it’s now sitting in my storage yard. Ebay says I waited to late to do anything about it. I’m stuck with it.Seller's Notesthis car is a southern car that’s been stored in a container for 28 years.ExteriorInteriorEngineDeposits are nonrefundable. Created on the eBay Motors app
