Description of 1962 Chevrolet Corvette

Chevrolet Corvette .This is a pretty much a numbers matching 1962 corvette Low mileage car 38500 about I broke the speedometer and drove it while it was getting fixed last fall the speedometer great broke in the tranny and I havenâ€™t fixed it but drove the car since. It has a rebuilt 350 motor with dual quads. 4 speed posi -traction rear end 350. Block number is 3970010. As you can see car has cragars s/s on it Every steering part has been replaced in the last 1000 miles except the front springs and they were good The rear end has been rebuilt also all 4 brake drums are new as well as shoes and cylinders Frame is great no rot I bought this car in Maryland a few years back it had been in the same husband /wife since March of 1967 so in the last 53 years I am only the second owner All mechanical work was done by a GM mechanic with 25 plus years of experience. Car drives great as a matter of fact after changing the oil and taking off plates today so I could take pictures I went for a ride unbeknown to me a state trooper saw me run through the gears and pulled me over speeding no plates no registration no wallet so no driver license luckily I live out in the country and he had another call and told me to get the fâ€”â€”- home which I did slowly.
