Description of 1994 Chevrolet Blazer Tahoe LT |
This truck has been in my family for about 15 years. You can drive this truck home. The motor was replaced with a new (not rebuilt) GM crate motor at about 165,000 miles. Transmission was rebuilt at the same time and shifts great. 4WD High and Low and the electronic transfer case work good too. Factory locking differential. Is the highest trim level, the Tahoe LT. It has almost every option you can get from GM. We've only put about 3000 miles on it in the last three years. As the rest of the truck is showing its age, and being blessed with two new children, I really don't have the time to bring it up to a daily driver level of performance. I did drive it to Denver and back the other day (240 miles) and it does highway with no problem. The transmission shifts and runs perfectly with overdrive at 80mph it only turns about 2250rpm. Good gas mileage and lots of power. It has also towed a few utility trailers over the years with no problem. This would be a good tow vehicle. If you are mechanically inclined it is a good candidate for restoration due to its lack of rust. There have not been any unskilled or rigged repairs to this truck. It has no modifications at all. So if you're looking for a nice stock blazer of this era, here's a good start. There are many issues with this truck due to its age. I would not recommend this vehicle to someone who needs simple A to B transportation. It's an older truck that needs work to bring it up to a daily driver level. Paying a mechanic to bring this up to spec would be extremely expensive and I would not recommend it at all. Please call with your questions: (720) 295-4122 |
