1964 Chevrolet Impala sedan in the California desert. Odometer reads 21,125 but I'm sure it's been over a couple of times. I've had it for about 10 years but quit driving it after I got my new truck a few years ago, it's in non-op status so there are no back charges with DMV. It originally came with a 327 & powerglide combo but according to a document I found, back in 1992 a 1989 305 engine and 350 trans was put in it and the original intake manifold was retro fitted for it and has the original quadrajet is on it. The body is in very good condition and I don't think it's ever had bondo put on it. The only rust-out spot I can find is a couple of small holes in the trunk, see pic of me pointing at them. Has a few body imperfections but doesn't look like anything major. It was repainted a few years ago but the guy did a lousy job, looks great from a distance but up close you can see a lot of runs and fish eyes and he didn't sand it good enough. I have most of the original body trim but a lot of it is rotted and needs to be replaced. I also have a new side moulding set complete with clips that will be included. Has all new drums, brakes, and hardware. New tires but they are kinda small, would get a better RPM ratio with taller tires. New A/C compressor but not sure if it's working right, the blower motor is weak and needs to be replaced. The pressure hose on the power steering pump was replaced but still leaks somewhere. New drive line carrier barring and yoke seal. Front end rebuilt, steering and suspension is good and solid. The inside looks great. New headliner, carpet, seat covers, and door panels. The lower part of the door panels are kinda warped along the bottom but still look ok. Has the original black CA plates, not those new poser black plates. Needs trunk and door seals. Even though it seems to run ok right now just driving down the street and back, I would not recommend driving it home until the engine has been completely checked out, I'm not a professional mechanic and it might have issues I'm unaware of. Bare this in mind when considering bidding. I can't guarantee a vintage car. These things always need work, be prepared to work on it. If you want to check it out let me know just please don't come over if your sick. This is a covid free neighborhood and we're trying to keep it that way. If your in another state and need it shipped, that's ok just pay me first and pay your preferred shipping company.
