1975 GMC retired fire truck cabover engine. Very rare tilt model truck. From Iowa now in Ohio. Clear Ohio title.Approx 94" high x 23' long - 176" wheelbase - 84" front tire width - 97" rear tire width427 big block with manual 5 speed trans.13k original miles with original build sheet from a fire truck plant in Wyoming, MN. Also comes with service manual and original owner's manual. All tires are like brand new, interior is very nice. power steering, power brakes (hydroboost style, air & hydraulic), spotlights, etc. The pumps ran off drive shaft PTO which was taken off. So I had shipped to Ohio. Custom Clutch of Cleveland, Ohio make a brand new drive shaft. I've added a large fuel tank and started on the ramp bed. Purchased 2 brand new Weatherguard boxes, new ramps and a winch. Started on building the ramp bed. I have driven the truck around on historic plates- HAVE GOTTEN A LOT OF QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS TRUCK, NO OIL LEAKS, DOORS WINDOWS WORK PROPERLY, PARKING E BRAKE WORKS, THERE IS NO MAJOR RUST
- THIS TRUCK HAS REAL PATINA
- THIS IS THE REAL McCOY
- I DON'T THINK YOU COULD FIND ANOTHER IN THIS CONDITION
Shipping Options:1. You can pick up and drive, I'm a mechanic and would suggest getting extra hoses, belts and fluids and then hit the road. Won't set any land speed records but goes down the freeway pretty good after the tires warm up.2. You can have shipped. I paid $1600 from Iowa to Ohio. You'd have to set up your own shipping and pay for it.3. If you 're less than 300 miles, I can drive to you for a cost of $3.00 per mile. I love this truck, running out of time to complete. I have 5 figures in this truck and feel with a few thousand more and some labor, could be a local show stopper. Please email me with any other questions or if would like to come see and drive.
