Description of 1984 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

You are looking at my wonderful 1984 Chevy Monte Carlo, factory 305,four barrel, completely untouched and original under the hood except for general maintenance over the years such as belts, hoses, filters,valve cover gaskets. All pollution control equipment still attached and functioning properly. I figured the next owner can customize it to their liking, but it can be original only once. The body is in great shape with one repaint about 16 years ago and held up very well, not a show paint job, but very presentable. There are scratches here and there,as you can tell from the photo the vinyl top is slightly peeling on the roof and will need attention.There is zero rust on this car, floors are solid, frame is spotless and perfect, no repair work done anywhere. Garaged all it life and it truly shows. Interior is basically mint, except small area in drivers sets that has worn through from the seat belt,headliner is beautiful but sags a little bit in the rear, not bad enough to repair it yet. A/C is ice cold at all heating controls work as intended to.Power windows both work but are a little slow probably from lack of use. The car sits on a set of 14x6 rallye wheels and I also have a set of factory wire wheel covers. Remember, this is a 36 year old car and has its flaws, I am sure I missed a few here and there and to bring it into true show condition would to some elbow grease and a couple dollars here and there. I forgot to mention antenna is a bit loose and I will try to repair if I find the time Also speedo needle somehow broke but still works and records mileage, just the needle is broke half way down. All and all this is a very solid, original, unmolested car waiting to be driven and enjoyed by its new owner. Fresh interstate battery,starts effortlessly and can drive anywhere.
