Description of 1972 Chevrolet C10 Pick Up |
100% CONCOURS CONDITION! 4,120 INDICATED MILES! FLAWLESS BLACK EXTERIOR & INTERIOR! DESIRABLE SHORT BOX FLEETSIDE BODY STYLE 350 CI V-8 ENGINE/AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION A/C, AM-FM, TILT STEERING, FRONT DISC BRAKES TACHOMETER, POWER BRAKES AND STEERING A clean-sheet design introduced for the 1967, Chevrolets redesigned C/K pickup trucks and their GMC stablemates took the North American light-truck market by storm. Ride and handling were a quantum leap forward with a remarkably car-like ride courtesy of modern independent front suspension and coil springs at all four corners. Underhood, the trucks featured Chevrolets typically wide range of six-cylinder and V-8 engines with manual and automatic transmissions. Ride and overall height were lower than ever before with a carefully engineered drop-frame chassis, while maintaining useful ground clearance. During production, interior appointments were progressively improved, and the list of standard and optional amenities grew, allowing buyers to personalize their pickups as desired. Styling was carefully refined throughout production and upmarket models included the Cheyenne with embossed seat covers and additional wood grain trim and bright accents. Production continued through 1972. In addition to excellent restoration parts support, these stylish haulers are incredibly easy to service, making them a hands-down favorite of restorers, customizers, and even racers. Of the various 1967-1972 body styles offered, including Fleetsides and Stepsides, the short-box Fleetside is quite rare and particularly desirable today with its crisp bodylines and relatively compact proportions. Equipped with the upscale Cheyenne trim and interior package, this highly attractive example of the wildly popular 1967-72 Glamour Series light-duty trucks from GM features a glossy Black exterior finish, nicely matched by a Black interior including bright accents, wood grain door panels, and embossed Cheyenne bench seat. Ample power is delivered by a 350 CI small-block V-8 engine mated to a Turbo-Hydramatic 3-speed automatic transmission for effortless cruising. A dash-mounted tachometer and gauge cluster monitor vital functions. Air conditioning, an AM-FM radio, power brakes (disc front), power steering, and tilt steering deliver a very enjoyable driving experience. A well-fitted tonneau cover, gleaming brightwork, embroidered floor mats, and Chevrolet Rally wheels mounting white-lettered radial tires complete the package. Thorough evaluation, sorting, and detailing were most recently performed at The Last Detail. A great example from the last model year for Chevrolets Glamour Series pickups with select updates, this 1972 Chevrolet C10 Short Box Pickup will deliver plenty of enjoyment and draw admirers everywhere you take it.
