Description of 1966 Chevrolet El Camino

Been in my family since 67'. Starts & runs. Rebuilt carb recently, but it needs a new one. Sometimes it needs a little starting fluid to start. Drives good. Brakes need servicing, like turn the drums,new shoes, and wheel cylinders. But, it does drive. I commute in it weekly.
Body is straight. Has rust: Rear patch panel under rear window, I have a new panel to replace it. New battery, belts, hoses, water pump, fuel pump. Rebuilt carb, I would replace it. New fuel. Tires are good, so is alternator and starter.
The rust can be repaired if you want to restore it, or just drive it as is. Very fun to own. Interior looks good. No headliner. Bench seat. No glove box. You can buy one cheap. All glass is there, no cracks. All emblems are intact, none missing. Has rear air shocks. Tires are ok. They hold air. Great tread.
A little tlc, and is would be a fun driver to take anywhere. I go to car shows, cruise nights, the beach. Great year!

Speedo stopped working very long time ago. This motor has less than 25k miles as I drive it rarely. Transmission is a power-glide and is in perfect condition. Automatic.
