From 1963 through 1967 Corvette built the second generation of cars and by most accounts were the finest of any generation and I would tend to agree. The first ever production Coupe sported a fastback body with a long hood that is quite arguably the sexiest Corvette ever. Quad headlights, split taillights, a raised windsplit and knock off wheels were just a few of the features that made this car look so good. Not to mention the engine options that were offered really made this car any ones game. In 1965, four-wheel disc brakes were also introduced. This particular stunning Western US vehicle originally came in XX paint code of Goldwood Yellow, however when the car was sold to its third owner in 1996, he had the car painted to the much more desirable Nassau Blue. The Goldwood yellow is still evident up under the dash. The VIN tags appear to have never been tampered with and the engine stamp pad shows Engine # 510461 with and HT also indicating that this car is a 327/350HP 4-speed. Transmission and rear end also appear to be correct. The paint although now nearly 25 years old still shows remarkable well, the chrome and trim is good and interior is in what I think excellent condition throughout. The radio has been changed out but what appears to be the original is with the car as are what appears to be the original keys, owners manual and shop manual. There are also many service receipts both recent and older that accompany the car. This car has been serviced well, excellent storage and is 100% ready to be enjoyed. This Stingray starts on a dime, shifts nicely, sounds even better and brakes as it should. Everything works like the pop lights and interior clock. This is a must see.
