Description of 1990 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1

1990 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 finished in Bright Red with smoked glass roof and painted roof. In the mid 80's, General Motors researched and designed high horsepower Corvette. What they got was a DOHC LT5 V8 Lotus engine - Lotus owned by GM at the time - which was built by Mercury Marine to build the engines. This puts down 375 hp and 370 lb/ft of torque to the rear wheels. The ZR1 debuted in 1989 in the Geneva Motor Show and was very well received; that prototype that was shown was known as the "King of the Hill". When it was actually released in 1990, Chevrolet sold 3,049. The base model 1990 Corvette retailed at roughly $30,000 and to get the ZR1 package and the required other addons brought the total retail closer to $50,000+! This particular car has only 20,581 miles on it and it shows inside and out! Paint is in great shape and has an incredible shine to it, even the nose cone is in great shape! Riding on stock wheels and Nitto tires. That LT5 V8 is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. Quad-tipped exhaust coming out of the rear. Black leather bucket seat interior in great shape as well as carpeting, dash, and door cards. Nicely equipped with power steering, power brakes, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, dual power seats, power adjustable bolster, A/C, engine power toggle switch, climate control, and ride control suspension! Great running and driving Corvette ZR1!
