Description of 1972 Chevrolet Camaro RS |
Selling my 1972 RS split bumper Chevy Camaro. I am planning on painting it and selling but kinda got my hands full so i thought i would post it on ebay before i make a decision. Please read ad before responding. Motor:The motor bay is clean with a 383 stuffed in her. The motor has a polished intake manifold. Edlebrock 4 barrel. Noisy Gear drive. Does have a cam. Deep sump oil pan. aftermarket headers topped with matching chrome valve covers & air cleaner. The transmission is a rebuilt Muncie 4 speed done by previous owner. The car has disk brakes. power steering. dual exhaust and a new battery. Interior :Previous owner had the interior re-upholstered. New looking seats front and back. No RIPS or Tears! They look killer. This Camaro came with the Deluxe or "custom" door panels from the manufacturer. All panels are in the car. so no need to hunt them down. This car has a functional heater . No A/C. Exterior:This Camero is clean. pretty straight. primed. and ready for your choice of paint. Could use some little body work before being sprayed depends on how far you wanna take it. The front end is a real Rally Sport front end with the turn signals in the center of the front end. This is not a base Camaro with just the two split bumper thrown on like most Camaros posted. Has the aggressive looking Cowl hood with the rear spoiler that brings it all together quite nicely. As for the wheels and tires. it has American racing wheels wrapped with newer tires with lots of tread. Rear tires are fatties. that tuck under nicely and makes the car unique looking. As far as being a Real Rally sport off the Assembly line for you numbers people. i dont know. It has the emblems and the front end. so it looks to be a Rally Sport to me. As far as rust i dont know. there was a floor replacement on the driver side. Drivability: Sounds like a beast and starts up fine. Car is pretty quick. Shifts perfect with no problems from what i can tell. The carb might need to be adjusted but it she'll drive down the street just fine. I don't drive the car at all. i got in trade so i just parked it. I dont know the history of the vehicle how you see it is how i got it. I'll try to answer any question to the best of my knowledge but like i said its just a car i got in trade. Clean. clear title ready to go. Car really just needs paint and you will have a killer second Camaro. This car is not for the faint of heart. really. If you like attention and loud cars this is the car. Clean clear open new mexico title ready to go. If you have any question feel free to ask. i tried to address all the common questions i had received from craigslist. What it needs from what i can see is paint of course. weather striping. dash pad and headlight bezels but usually i buy all that stuff new after a new paint job. Also the door keys don't work. i think the previous was replacing them because the new ones are in the trunk. Speedo is not hooked up. Car is sold as is with no returns. |
